Ponte Vecchio — The famous medieval bridge lined with jewellery shops, spanning the Arno River.

Piazzale Michelangelo — The best panoramic viewpoint in Florence. Stunning at sunset.

The Uffizi Gallery — One of the world's greatest art museums, home to works by Botticelli, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. Book tickets in advance!

Palazzo Pitti & Boboli Gardens — A grand Renaissance palace with beautiful landscaped gardens perfect for a leisurely afternoon.

Food & Drink

Mercato Centrale — Florence's central food market. The ground floor has fresh produce; upstairs is a fantastic food hall with everything from pasta to lampredotto.

Trattoria Mario — A no-frills, family-run trattoria near the market. Shared tables, incredible Florentine food, and very affordable.

All'Antico Vinaio — Famous for its schiacciata sandwiches. Expect a queue — it's worth it.

Gelato — You can't visit Florence without trying the gelato. Our favourites: Vivoli, La Carraia, and Gelateria dei Neri.

Wine Tasting — Tuscany is wine country! Consider a day trip to the Chianti region for vineyard tours and tastings.
